What We Do
Below is information about what we do on a weekly basis and information about other cadet activities.
Tuesdays
Mandatory Training/Drill Team
Location: Birchmount School (256 Ayer Ave., Moncton, NB) or Riverview Lions Club (701 Coverdale Rd., Riverview, NB)
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Sports Nights
We aim to have a sports night once a month. It will depend on what is happing at the time.
Location: Birchmount School (256 Ayer Ave., Moncton, NB)

Camps
All information will be sent out to parents as soon as we get it, including costs if any. Parents will be required to transport cadets to and from camps unless otherwise directed by corps staff.
Other Activities
This can include Parades and other outings and may be on regular training nights or weekends. Information will be sent out to parents as soon as we know the dates and times, including costs if any.
Cadet Training
Below is information about what training cadets can expect too get while in our Program.
CTS 01 Corps Organization and Ship’s RoutineThe aim of this subject is to familiarize new cadets with basic organizational knowledge in order to ease them into the system.
CTS 02 Wearing and Maintenance of UniformThe aim of this subject is to teach cadets the proper method of wearing and maintaining the uniform.
CTS 03 Navy League MovementThe aim of this subject is to inform cadets of the history and objectives of the Navy League.
CTS 04 DrillThe aim of this subject is for the cadets to learn the minimum number of movements to perform in a parade with a march past.
CTS 05 Canadian CitizenshipThe aim of this subject is to instill national, community, and corps pride in the cadets, and to allow them the opportunity to perform volunteer acts within the community.
CTS 06 SeamanshipThe aim of this subject is to teach cadets the seamanship skills necessary for sailing, and to introduce them to fancy Ropework.
CTS 07 Naval KnowledgeThe aim of this subject is to teach cadets about a wide range of significant naval topics.
CTS 08 LeadershipThe aim of this subject is to teach cadets basic leadership theory and to provide them with leadership experience.
CTS 09 Divisional Officer Periods and AssessmentsThe aim of this subject is to allow cadets and their Divisional Officers a chance to get to know each other and to conduct each level’s cadet assessment.
CTS 10 Recreation and SportsThe aim of this subject is to further develop skills taught in mandatory subjects through fun activities and friendly competition, as well as to encourage personal fitness.
CTS 11 Optional TrainingThe aim of this subject is to teach cadets a wide variety of subjects that are not part of their regular training and are done as time allows.
CTS 12 Introduction to CadetsThe aim of this subject is to introduce our cadets to the three elements of the older Canadian Cadet Movement.
